ekiel 22:30 - I sought
for a man among them, that should make up the hedge and STAND IN THE GAPfore me for the land, that I should NOT destroy it,
but found none.
MAN upon thy walls, O Jerusalem which shall never hold their
peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the Lord, keep not silent. And give him no rest, till he establish,
and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

Why should we pray? We should pray because God commanded
us to. Praying is the best opportunity anyone can have. To speak directly to the Almighty God, the maker of Heaven
and Earth, the Creator of all mankind, the all wise God, the Powerful one, the I AM THAT I AM. It's a delight
to have a conversation with GOD, and for that reason I take pleasure in asking others for their prayer requests.
I get excited when God answers prayers, when a Mother can smile because God has delivered her child from drugs,
when a friend can rejoice because the Doctor cannot find a trace of the previous disease in her body.
I praise the Lord for the abililty to pray - I LOVE
IT! I LOVE IT!
I LOVE IT!
I Timothy 2:1 - Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks
be made for all men.
II Chronicles 7:14 - If my people who are called by My name will humble themselves,
and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wickd ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal
their land.
Ephesians 5:18 -Praying is exercising the armour of God. Praying always with
all prayer and supplication in the spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.

Dear Reader, I must tell you that I have a heart for
prayer. I LOVE to pray, because I LOVE to hear from God. If I do not hear from God, I cannot survive.
When I pray, I am revived, refreshed and empowered. I yearn to seek the face of God. I love praying early
in the morning because the atmosphere is still, calm and peaceful, as this ocean appears. However, as peaceful
as this ocean seems, it can become a raging sea. In comparison to our lives, the enemy tries to make our lives seem like
a raging sea, but with PRAYER, the works of the enemy will be destroyed in the name of JESUS!
This is what happens when you pray.
P- Power and authority will be given to rebuke the enemy.
R- Revelation will come from God, he will speak to you, he will reveal himself to you, he
will reveal the enemy to you.
A - Appreciation and adoration, you will show for God.
Y - Yield - you will yearn and yield more for God.

Recently, the Lord told me to arise and pray from 4:00 am
- 5:00 am. I did as he instructed, until one morning I laid in my bed, feeling so warm and cozy, I did not not feel
like getting up. God reminded me that when he revealed the DEW OF HEAVEN to me it was early in the morning. Now
I wake up to pray with the excitement and expectation of receiving the MORNING DEW. Hallelujah!
Now, some people may think that I am a fanatic, but the Lord doesn't think so.
The Lord knows I am being obedient to his word in Mark 1:35 - Jesus got up early in the morning to pray.
In closing, I beseech you to take at least 5 minutes each day to talk with the Lord
and 5 minutes to listen to him. Why listen? We need to listen because praying is communication with God which
involves us talking and listening. We can miss GOD when we do all the talking and never listen.
Praying will reveal the heart of God to you. The more you pray, the more
power you'll receive from the Lord, because GOD HAS ALL POWER. Please remember to pray like Jesus did....LORD, NOT MY
WILL, BUT THINE BE DONE.
